One of my favorite things about baking is sharing it with others. Creating something for your loved ones instead of buying something from the store can have so much more meaning. Taking the time to write, make or in my case bake something for the ones I loved brings me so much joy watching they open it.
There is nothing better than sharing your gift than sharing it with others. As much as I love baking, I don’t think I would be as passionate about it without getting to share my creations and recipes with not only my loved ones but on my blog as well.
The idea behind Bakes By Ranchcookie was first created as a school project but eventually I fell in love with sharing my healthy lifestyle, workouts, and most importantly being able to share my recipes and food creations with others.
And that is exactly how this Mixed Nut Granola was created.
2 cups old fashioned oats
1/8 cup honey
2 T coconut butter (melted)
1/4 cup salty sweet chocolate & peanut butter mixed nuts (emerald nuts)
1/4 cup salty sweet original mixed nuts (emerald nuts)
dash of salt
Preheat oven to 350 F. Mix the contents in a bowl, making sure the granola is coated with honey and coconut butter. Bake for about 15 minutes until your granola is toasted. Let sit for an hour or until cool. Then enjoy!
